Health Hub

Health HubThe Health Hub Program helps people who use drugs from Dutchess,  Orange and Sullivan counties reduce opioid use, overdose and improve their general health and well being by providing low threshold access to buprenorphine. We connect clients to medical providers who can also offer crisis visits, relapse prevention and wound care. We also offer referrals to other services such as HIV, HCV and STD testing, case management, medical, mental health, substance use treatment and other support services.

The Hub works in tandem with our other drug treatment programs, the Syringe Exchange Program and Project ReachOut.

Buprenorphine–What’s That?

Medical providers associated with this program will be able to prescribe Buprenorphine to treat opioid and heroin addiction. It relieves drug cravings without producing the same high as other opioid drugs. Our Licensed Practical Nurse will also provide relapse interventions and monitor clients so they can access the services they need.
