Linkage and Education for Adherence Promotion (LEAP)

Project LEAP is a behavioral health education program aimed at assisting individuals with HIV/AIDS achieve and maintain their optimum health and well being.

Project LEAP assists individuals in accessing behavioral health care including mental health and drug treatment. Our behavioral health educators and peers offer support to individuals in navigating the behavioral health system while developing an understanding of their own treatment needs.

This program provides individual psycho-education sessions to encourage and facilitate behavioral health treatment as a way of increasing engagement in medical care and improving client health. LEAP helps reinforce the value of behavioral health treatment in managing  HIV and maintaining an undetectable viral load.

LEAP services are offered in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan counties.
