Caring for Children Helps Younger Members of the HVCS Family for the Holidays

Caring_for_Children_2013For the second year in a row, Caring for Children/The Frank and Rosemary Iovieno Foundation donated a sleigh-worth of toys, movie passes and gift cards to ensure that our clients’ children had a happy holiday. Rachel Diness, Caring for Children’s Vice President, right, met up with HVCS’ Jennifer Brathwaite, on left, to deliver 14 large bags filled with approximately 75 wrapped gifts for us to give to clients and their families with kids. The foundation is based in Massachusetts but Rachel hails from Sullivan County. This year they served 400 kids with holiday gifts, mostly with those living with HIV but some with other chronic conditions as well. We are very grateful for the support of Caring for Children and all who donated toys and gifts this past holiday season. Thank you for remembering our clients in need!
